LessAct

Terms of Service

These plain-English terms explain the rules for using the current LessAct service.

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms apply when you access or use LessAct. By using the service, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not continue using LessAct.

2. The LessAct Service

LessAct is an English-learning and game web service with registered and Guest accounts, learning progress, games, public profiles, collections, community features, analytics, and related account tools. Available features may change as the service develops.

3. Accounts and Account Security

You may use supported Guest features or create an account with Email and Password or Google Sign-In. Provide information you are authorized to use and keep your Password and linked sign-in methods secure.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact support@lessact.com if you believe an account or sign-in method has been compromised.

LessAct may restrict, suspend, ban, or deactivate access when needed to enforce these Terms, respond to reports, protect users, or preserve service security. Current Admin controls can change account roles, apply bans, and revoke active sessions.

4. Acceptable Use

Use LessAct for its intended learning, game, and community purposes. Do not:

  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, spam, or defraud other users.
  • Upload or post unlawful, harmful, infringing, or malicious content.
  • Attempt unauthorized access or interfere with accounts, rate limits, security controls, servers, games, or other users.
  • Exploit bugs, automate activity, or manipulate gameplay, rewards, rankings, or service records unfairly.
  • Use another person's account or sign-in identity without permission.

5. Profiles and User Content

You are responsible for profile information, avatars, chat messages, uploads, reports, and other content you submit. Only submit content you are permitted to use.

You allow LessAct to host, process, display, moderate, archive, or remove submitted content as needed to provide the selected features, handle reports, apply retention rules, and maintain service safety.

Profile details and content posted in shared areas may be visible to other users. Authorized Admin accounts may review content and related records for moderation and operations.

6. Progress and Service Records

Learning progress, scores, rankings, collections, entitlements, virtual balances, rewards, and similar records are features of LessAct. LessAct may correct records affected by errors, abuse, unauthorized activity, or maintenance. These features do not guarantee permanent availability or preservation.

7. Intellectual Property

The LessAct service contains software, branding, interface designs, artwork, and learning materials protected by intellectual-property rights. These Terms permit ordinary use of the service but do not transfer ownership. Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected service content unless you have permission or applicable law allows it.

8. Third-Party Services

LessAct currently uses Google Identity Services for Google Sign-In, Resend for transactional Email, and Google Fonts for hosted typefaces. Your use of those provider-operated features may also be subject to the provider's terms and policies. LessAct does not control the availability of third-party systems.

9. YouTube API Services

Certain administrative features of LessAct Live use YouTube API Services to let authorized LessAct administrators connect and operate YouTube-connected live-game sessions. By using that YouTube-connected functionality, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

The LessAct Privacy Policy explains LessAct's handling of information associated with the integration. Google and YouTube may separately process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

An authorized LessAct administrator may disconnect a channel in LessAct or revoke LessAct's access in Google Account settings. LessAct may disable or pause the integration when authorization expires or is revoked, YouTube API availability changes, or security or compliance requires it. LessAct is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with YouTube.

10. Availability and Changes

LessAct may update, limit, pause, or discontinue features for product, maintenance, safety, security, or operational reasons. The service is provided on an “as available” basis. LessAct does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, uptime, or permanent preservation of every service record.

11. Responsible Use and Disclaimer

Use LessAct responsibly and keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose. Learning results and analytics are product feedback, not a guarantee of a particular educational outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Ending Use and Account Lifecycle

You may stop using LessAct at any time. The current service does not include self-service registered-account deletion or a fixed deletion timetable. Account-information or deletion questions can be sent to support and are handled through manual review as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes and Contact

These Terms may change when LessAct features or operating rules change. The Last updated date at the top will identify the current published version.

For questions about these Terms, contact support@lessact.com.
